2026 Present Day
The Group is still run and managed by the third, fourth and fifth generation of the Cadisch Family, along with support from other Directors. Business is thriving after being founded more than 130 years ago by the visionary, Richard E Cadisch.
2010
Ecoled Ltd. is formed, focusing on developing LED technology.The Group is expanding and moves to larger premises in Herts. A new purpose build production facility is opened in Hatfield.


2000's
Cadisch MDA Ltd specialises in innovative metal and mesh engineering solutions for a wide range of buildings from stadiums and museums to restaurants and private residences. Recognising growing architect demand for integrated LED lighting, the Cadisch Group acquired a specialist LED company with over 20 years of experience, collaborating to develop architectural building fabrics and lighting systems that enhance design.
1990's
Cadisch Precision Meshes Ltd. operates as a group with three divisions: Woven Wire Mesh & Perforated Sheet, Synthetic Filtration Materials, and Screen Printing Fabrics. Notable milestones include securing contracts with Bentley and Jaguar to supply wire mesh radiator grilles, and opening a new High Wycombe production facility specialising in screens for the CD and DVD printing market.


1980's
A new, state of the art production facility is opened in Alton, Hampshire producing new filtration technology for the recycling industry. A new depot is opened in Aberdeen to supply specialised screens to the North Sea Oil industry.
1970's
A new contract is awarded to us by Rolls Royce, to supply filters for the Aeronautical Engines division. A new screen printing division is set up to supply the rapidly expanding printed circuit board industry.


1960's
A landmark contract is secured with British Aerospace, supplying specialist filters for Concorde. The motor division is sold to Brown Brothers in one of the largest private sales of its time, with the family refocusing on Wire Mesh Filtration from new premises in Finchley. The business grows to supply sectors worldwide, including recycling, petrochemicals, electronics, foodstuffs, and general engineering.
1950's
R. Cadisch & Sons is awarded two Royal Warrants as suppliers to the Royal Family, cementing its reputation as the country's largest motor factors company. To support this growth, new production facilities are opened in North London and Ipswich, alongside new City offices.


1930's
R.Cadisch & Sons. continue to expand their manufacturing product range including domestic appliances, light fittings and wiring suppliers. The Second World War begins and the motor trade is limited. The business joins the war efforts by manufacturing aircraft vital part for the Air Ministry.
1920's
After the First World War, his three sons join him to form R.Cadisch & Sons. The business is now operating from 171 Gt. Portland Street in London, manufacturing motor accessories and garage equipment. Business is booming and a new factory is opened in Ipswich, manufacturing radio receivers and components. There's also a new wire weavers division set up.


1900's
The motor trade begins to develop; Richard starts importing motor accessories and selling the Zenith Carburettor in large volumes to the new motor manufacturers.
1880's
Richard Cadisch, a Swiss national arrives in the UK and starts Fenestre, Cadisch & Co. as a general importer of sheep shears, essential oils and engineering products.
